Here are some highlights of Romola’s advocacy and work for Lawson:

In this term of Council, Romola has listened and taken action on our local community’s priorities. She has:
• championed the delivery of the South Lawson Park Masterplan and Plan of Management which will include a permanent home for the dog-off leash area, new shared paths for children and families to ride bikes and strengthened environmental protections for Lawson Creek
• been a strong voice for Lawson Pool swimmers and has successfully advocated to save the baby’s and toddler pools from removal, stopped the proposed reduction in the summer opening hours and delivered a trial extension of the swimming season for 2021-2022
• delivered ongoing maintenance of the new landscaping from the highway upgrade outside Our Lady Nativity School in Lawson.

If re-elected, Romola will:
• work with our community in the upcoming review of the plan of management for the Five Waterfalls Circuit to address increased visitation and protection of the environment
• pursue the delivery of the Priority Parking Precinct Plan for Lawson
• continue to be a strong local and active voice for the community of Lawson and the people of Ward 2.
